Questionnaire analysis

Questionnaire Analysis
My task was to interview a random person inside the college and run them through a questionnaire asking them about the college magazine. This is the analysis I did:
The participants said they did not read the college magazine, and the reason they gave was that they were oblivious to the fact that college even made one. I should take this into consideration by making it more noticeable on the shelves. They said that ‘free stuff’ would attract them to the magazine, as well as colours. This would link to making it more noticeable to people and will help me sell it. The majority wanted the magazine to be published monthly or termly. It would be easier to publish the magazine monthly because it would make the dates of publication more manageable. The price that people would be willing to pay is between 50p and £1. This may need to be raised slightly if the magazine is to be sold with freebies. The 3 main articles wanted to be seen in the magazine are music, film and employment listings. This is what I expected to find, since these are typical interests of teenagers. The majority wanted the layout style to be informal, whereas only a minority wanted it formal. This is most likely because it makes the magazine more enjoyable to read and to understand the text easier. Most of the participants said they wanted the magazine to have a webpage because it’s a more practical way of looking at the magazine’s news. Somewhere between 21 and 40 pages was said to be a suitable length for the magazine and only a small number of people said they would gladly contribute to helping produce the magazine.
